The Ultimate Cottage Salad with Turkey

This is the go-to summer recipe we love! Easy-to-make and DELICIOUS, it’s ideal when you just want to relax, enjoy the sun and have a healthy meal. Make it at the cottage, bring to friend’s potluck, or for a backyard picnic. You can always take it to work for lunch, too, and on your break pretend you’re far far away, somewhere by the lake.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of baby spinach
  • 2 cups of arugula
  • 3 one-inch slices of oven roasted turkey breast nitrate-free
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 2 handfuls of raspberries
  • 1 half of a red onion
  • Balsamic glaze as needed

Preparation

Step 1

Put spinach and aurugula on the plates.

Step 2

Cut the turkey into cubes, wash raspberriers, crumble the feta cheese, slice the onion into halves.

Step 3

Make the crust: Layer the turkey, raspberries and onions on the spinach and arugula, sprinkle some feta chese and black pepper on top, and drizzle with the balsamic glaze. Enjoy <3.
